Description
The ANZAC Pilgrimage – Kokoda to Owers’ Cnr is designed for the trekker(s) who would like to take it easier and see/experience Kokoda in more time. We understand the need for a cultural experience as well as learning more about the history of the war campaign.
The trek will take you along the Kokoda Track as you make your way through various locations and battlesites to give the trekker a an understanding of what our soldiers went through during WWII.
The trek will have trekkers begin walking before Anzac day or start the trek on Anzac day according to the Itinerary.
Trek 1213 will will begin prior to Anzac day on the 17th of April, at trek’s end all trekkers will be back in Port Moresby to attend the DAWN SERVICE at BOMANA WAR CEMETERY for ANZAC DAY services.
