Gday again my only advice is to train as often as you can , you have youth on your side but alsoit is an advantage to train with the gear you will be taking, make sure you break in your boots and get very familiar with your pack they will be with you for over a week and you need to be good friends!!!! Do you know wich way you will be going?cheers…

G'day Chloesounds like you are in good hands and are preparing well. The only advicei would offer is just walk at your own pace, it is not a race and you will make it.it is tough but there is plenty of time and your porters take pride in makingsure you complete this amazing journey.cheers mikmac

G'dayi trekked in july 2007 and had a share porter. He carried about half of my gear! it was fantastic and a win win situation, because it was a good wage for him, i got to meet him and become his friend and i was still able to carry a pack over the track!!cheers mikmac

( thinking if i fall i would most probably protect this area of my body). the only trouble i had with moisture was after the " boots of crossings' where…[Read more]
