    Hi Tilly,I completed the trek in november (TREK 354). All you need is the trekking stick provided by KTL trekking. If you are going with a company who does not provide this then prepare to be stuck with a couple hundred dollars for a top of the range trek pole (each).Belive it or not, i took 2 trekking poles.     hi brian,i completed the trek in november this year and i wore the longer gaiters and i would recommend them to everyone. I bought decent 'gore tex' quality gaiters and i did not find them that hot or uncomfortable to wear at all.     hey guys, in regards to shots and medication check out http://www.traveldoctor.com.aufound this has good information on what different countries are at risk of. I think there is also a contact number so you can actully go see a doctor who specializes in overseas travel.

    hey guys,im due to go in november. can anyone tell me how often (if at all), creeks require crossing without an bridge? and if you need to walk through with your boots on and all or take them off and dry your feet after. To me this seems time-consuming, i have heard different things. Can someone please make any light of this??cheersjp
