GailWe want to bring sealed food bars with us as I suppose everyone does e.g. energy foods, snacks, apricots, raisins etc. Do you know of any problems bringing them through customs?

Hi GailOne of the reasons I booked through your company (and I did look at operations here in Australia that take guides up to PNG) was to get the real local "flavour". I am looking forward to meeting the locals!

Hi GailI am trekking 19 June and am wondering about an itinerary? Do we get one before we arrive in PNG or is it a day by day thing or ….?
graeme replied to the topic Medication/injections in the forum Trek Preparation 19 years, 1 month ago
Hi CathyI too am trekking in June (19th). The research I have done suggests anti-malarial tablest are a must as PNG is one of the hot spots in the world for malaria. Doxycyline or atovaquone (malarone) appears the most appropriate but am speaking with my GP on Wednesday.
