MemberQUOTE(Jessie Garap @ 14 Sep 2005, 09:43 AM)Update 14th September, 2005;Trek 148
Although, the group walked a long distance from Eora Creek all through to Efogi 1 where they camped for the night, everyone did tremendously well, no difficulties or struggles; all 6 trekkers handled it well and made it safely to their campsite, without a bruise.Yes! The group spent the night at Efogi 1, and this morning were up early for yet another day?s walk. The group was at the top of Menari look-out-point, when their guide called in from his two-way-radio to inform us of their whereabouts and the group?s conditions.
?Everyone?s ok; we are now up at Menari look-out-point after just left Brigade Hill, a few minutes ago. The trekkers have gone a head of me with the others porters, heading down to Menari, they are all doing grate. The weather yesterday was cloudy but no rain, today looks fine only it?s dull,? reported Paulo.
Deb, I will pass on Ian?s message, when they give me a call at Menari village.
