Please always remember….you all walk at your own speed. Of course some trekkers will be fitter…let them be….let them lead….who cares….the main thing is to finish!Our porters will stick with you to the end they dont care if it takes you 4 hours or 10 hours to get to the next campsite where you all end up anyway. Trek 79 Update Sunday 29th May, 2005: All trekkers are doing just great and have now reached Va'Ule Guesthouse. They were going to try and get further to Goldie River but rain set in and it was decided to stop where they were and push on in the morning.All trekkers are expected out around midday at Ower's Corner.

Update Trek 79 – Saturday 28th April, 2005: This trek is going along as planned and have reached Naoro Village where they will spend the night before heading off to Va'Ule Creek. All trekkers should be out on Monday at Ower's Corner around 11am.

Trek 79: Trekkers all got away ok around 11ish and were met at Kokoda Airport by Russell Eroro (Kokoda Trekking Ltd – my JV Business Partner) and his two guides + porters. Sunday, 22nd May, 2005:Unfortuntately the flight to Kokoda today was delayed due to the pilot and aircraft getting stuck on the ground at Fane due to bad weather.The flight to Kokoda is now due to leave at 11am. Hi Warren, it might be wise to give some indication of when you would like to trek.Alternatively you could kick off a trek of your own and ask others to join you. Most of our treks start this way as not everyone can talk people into walking the trail as they think it is too hard.I for one proved if I can walk the Kokoda Trail almost anyone can.…[Read more]
