Dear Steve and Thomas,
What an enormous effort you have both made to complete this trek. Emily and I are so so proud of you both and can't wait to see you. Its been pouring where we were the whole time and we can only imagine what its been like for you two with injury and pain walking in it!
We both miss you and are looking forward to hearing all your tales .

I read only today of your injury. Will you be brought out? Can I do anything? How is thomas?
i am using Jenny's email in Port Macquarie to check on your progress so only just found out. I'm so sorry you are hurt and Emily adn I send you lots of love and a quick recovery.
i will call the operator of the trek to find out what is going on.

We won't be in touch or tracking you until Thursday night when we get back. Don't doubt we are thinking of you and sending lots of love and support for your fantastic effort together. We hope you are managing well as I'm sure you are. We will be doing a camel ride together! Em wants to go at the front.
