Yes as previously updated by aussie, the group will spend the night at Isurava village tonight and head down to Kokoda tomorrow.
All trekkers are fine, although there have been some tough climbs and descending, all have done absolutely terrific these last three days. No problems or injuries.
They spent the night at Iora Creek yesterday, and this morning headed up to Alola, where they stopped for lunch.
Weather still doesn?t look ok at this time, but it?s not bordering anyone at all.

MemberTrek 162 Wednesday Update;
After spending the night at Efogi, the group headed out early hours of Wednesday morning to get to their next destination.
Although the weather did not look ok that mroning, the track was manageable.This is what their guide Kingsley said when he updated me then;
?All trekkers are ok, so are the porters, no injuries or problems, we?re all doing fine. I wanted to take the trekkers through Kagi to have a look around, but they requested to have lunch at Naduri village and also take the opportunity to meeting the last of all veterans. And they did and are all very pleased about it. We will camp tonight at Myola Junction, I know for sure we won?t be able to get in touch with you when we get to Myola, because of the location we?re in, but we will give you a call tomorrow to give you an update.?

MemberTrek 162 Update;
The group spent the night at Menari village last evening and today they will be heading down to Efogi 1 village where they will camp for the night.
There are no reports of injuries; all trekkers are doing extremely well, so that?s good news.
Although the weather doesn?t look too pleasing at this time, all trekkers including their youngest Taz, who is pretty much enjoying his walk, seem relaxed and coping well with the track, even though it?s muddy and slippery.
At the moment, they are up at Brigade Hill taking a rest; soon they will proceed down to their campsite.
More of their updates will be posted up later on this evening and the days yet to come.
If any family members out there would like to send any messages to their love ones, please feel free to write in and let me know. I will be more then happy to pass it on.
Trekkers and porters enjoying the great view from the top.

Although its been raining this last few days on the trail, which is pretty much hard to walk, as the ground is very slippery and they have to be very careful how they maneuver their steps when descending or climbing up hill. So far no bad news, all have done really well.
Despite the bad weather and hard walking, all trekkers did absolutely terrific with the help of their porters and guide. There have been no reports of injuries or problems, all arrived well and safely at their campsite, Nauro village yesterday evening.When we asked to speak to the trekkers, their assistant guide informed us that all trekkers were very tired and exhausted after a long day walk and were not able to come to the Nauro base radio to get their messages. However, they have asked if we could print out all their messages and take up to Owers Corner on Sunday when they come out. From there, they will reply to all messages.
Due to the bad weather on their side and their locations, we will not be able to make any radio contacts with the group from now on up until the day they come out. However, I?m pretty sure everything?s going to be fine and that the trekkers will be well taken care of by their porters and guides.
Tonight, the group will camp down in Ua-ule Creek and from there will come out tomorrow.
Seen here at Ua-Ule Creek, food-porters have already arrived at their designated campsite and are about to make fire and put hot water for the trekkers.

The group arrived safely at Efogi 1 village yesterday evening and this morning headed out as early as 7am. They will head on up to Brigade Hill to be followed by Menari where they will have lunch and proceed on to New Nauro; there they will camp for the night.
All trekkers are ok, have done really well these past few days and still doing well. No injuries or problems, all are walking well and getting to their designated campsites on time.
They gave us a call late yesterday evening, but due to our absents back in the office, we were not able to get their call or pass on any messages. However, they have informed us that, when they get to Nauro they will try to give us a call and this time we?ll be around to get their calls.
Until then, more of their updates will be posted up later on today, so keep an eye out for that.
Before the group gets up to Brigade Hill, they will first reach Efogi 1 look-out point, where they will have the whole view of Efogi village.

Around 4:30pm Monday afternoon, the group guide Bevan gave us call here at the KTL base to inform us of the group?s condition and their latest update.
?We are now at Menari village, all trekkers are ok and doing fine. There have been no problems or injuries, we?ve all walked well and have safely reached our campsite Menari village. Our food is ok, we?re not short of anything, what we have here will take us all the way out. At this time we?re experiencing showers,? reported Bevan.

Haven't heard from the group since this morning, but I'm sure everyone is ok and doing great. They are probably heading towards Eora Creek, somewhere in the middle of Alola and Eora which is why they can't get a clear reception to give us a call now.However, I'm sure their guide will give us a call later on today and update us on their progress so far and also the trekkers? conditions.
Otherwise, I think all is well, we'll just have to wait for their next call.
From top of one of the hills you get a clear view of Alola village.

The group has arrived safely up at Isurava village. They will camp up there tonight and tomorrow will make their next move to their next destination.All trekkers are ok, have done really well up the test mountain, only Russell sprained his ankle, its not serious his ok and has made it up well to the top.
The test mountain is actually the very first mountain to climb, before you start the whole trail. It's a pretty big mountain to start off with that is why the porters and guides call it the test mountain. Their main reason is to see how fit the trekkers are on the first day and how well they can face the first challenge.
Deniki look-out point, is the half way mark of the test mountain.

As mentioned yesterday by Gail, the group was up early this morning to start of their first day of walk as planned.Though every single one of them looked nervous as this was their first day and off-cause they knew they?d be doing a lot of mountain climbing and another 7 days of walk, yet the excitement on their faces said it all, they?ve trained hard for it and this day has finally come to face the real thing.
The group was at Kovelo village when John Eroro called in to inform us, said they now head to Mudulu and to be followed by Hoi village next.
All trekkers are ok, doing good and moving well.
More of their updates will be posted up later on during the day.

The group has already arrived in Kokoda. All trekkers are well, made it safely and are now relaxing at Russell's family block. Like Gail said, they were welcomed by the traditional dancing group as they entered the block with smiles all across their faces.I'll probably give them a radio call later on today, and see if they have any messages for you loved ones back home. Yesterday, they could not pass on any messages, due to not clear reception.
CONGRATULATIONS ALL ON A SUCCESSFUL FINISH.

All trekkers are ok, no problems or injuries; all did absolutely terrific this last three days and made it safely to all their campsites, so that was good to hear.They will camp up Deniki look-out point tonight and tomorrow will push on down to Kokoda. So yeah, they?ve almost come to the end, one more night and they?ve finally accomplish their expedition.
At the moment, the trekkers are taking a cool bath down in the creek, as soon as they come up, I will read out their messages via the guide or direct to the trekkers.
Till then, keep an eye out for a reply.

The group was at Uberi taking a break when Salvador called in to give their latest progress."We're at Uberi now taking a break. All trekkers are ok still looking fit, healthy and doing grate. From here we will push on to Goldie River where we'll camp for the night and tomorrow head out to Owers Corner," reported Salvador.
So looks like everythings ok around their end.
I tried reading out all the messages to the trekkers, but due to some radio interference and not clear reception, it was hard for the trekkers to hear any of the messages from me.
