Gail – you have done a terrific job of local ration packs. Stan Bisset said it all when he said, '…no matter what they eat on the track they are eating a damn site better then the 2/14th.'

That sounds great Mike – sounds like a big task – but well worth the effort. I say go for it! Also perhaps you could create your own anthology of poems – put them on your computer (if you haven't done so already), print them out & put them in a display folder with a cover page & a table of contents/index. Saloo88 – thank you for bringing that to my attention. I had not considered the environmental impacts this would have. I guess burning them in the campfire would also be out of the question – as polystyrene emits toxic chemicals into the atmosphere when burnt…However, if KTL also provides them as part of the food ration packs, what to do then?…[Read more]

Boss Meri – Certainly are planning to trek with you guys. Mr Fluppy is worried his knees won't hold out by then, so I'm trying to talk him into letting me go with you guys without him. Ok, so I won't know anybody, but hey, it's all good. Now back to buttering Mr Fluppy up…
