MemberG'day again, 342 Trekkers,
Delighted to be following your progress (via the map) and updates from Boss Meri.
Expected you to be sleeping at Isurava last night (23 Aug) but seems you've pushed on to the village of Hoi. … and Kokoda is almost just a "hop, skip and jump" away. Can't get any better, I reckon.
Best of the best to all.

MemberHi 342 trekkers.
Am wondering if you slept at Eora Creek last night? … Looks AMAZING! … and maybe you made it to Isurava to sleep the night?
Best of the best to all.

MemberFANTASTIC!!! to get all the info and photos of Trek 342 when they first started off and then there was a lull, which is understandable, but SO SO good to log on tonight and get an update!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not quite sure if this email will actually get to the trekkers themselves. If so, I say BRAVO! to all of you and am sure you'll have amazing experiences to share with all us here back home, when you return.
To Cullen Habel – a personal message – so many of your family are following your progress via the Web but I want you to know that your loved/loving Nana is almost "blown away" and happier than I've heard her for a very long time. She tells me that she is constantly bragging to others (in her Nursing Home) about her Grandson on "the Kokoda Track". She tells me that because so many of her companions are immigrants they have no knowlege of what she experienced personally (and you know the story) and it's clear that she's so happy to be able to "educate" her companions about something which is a very significant part of her life.
Ooo- roo and best of the best to all,
from Cullen's Mum. - AuthorPosts
