Update 2nd July 2018
Trek 1120: Gary Juary the guide for this trek celebrates his birthday today. When he called up this afternoon to give me his report for the day he seemed happy that I remembered…well with a little bit of help from ‘Facebook’. He said they are now at Ua’Ule Creek for the night. Dean toughed it out today with his knee it seems but is ok and along with Amanda and Brett doing well.
Update 3rd July 2018
Trek 1120: Gary called to say they are at now at Ofi Creek for the night and that they are all ok and doing well. Tomorrow they have a tough day ahead of them as they walk up Maguli Range and into Nauro Village before heading further down the track to Agulogo. Apparently tonight they are sharing the area at Ofi with another trekking company.
Update 4th july 2018
Trek 1120: This trek are now camped at Agulogo for the night. According to Gary some of the trekkers have blisters which they will treat before heading off tomorrow. The plan is to head to Launumu (Efogi II) for the night. So after tomorrow they can skite they have passed the half way point! Tonight the share the campsite area with the same trekking company as last night at Ofi Creek.
Update 5th July 2018
Trek 1120: This trek has now reached Efogi II. No phone call from Gary Juary at this stage but our GPS shows them at that location as at 15:41. this afternoon. So blisters and all they have powered along today. Well done to this team of trekkers as well as they head towards the finish line in Kokoda.
Update 6th July 2018
Trek 1120: This trek is now at the lukobo campsite near Mt Bellamy. Trek is very busy according to Gary and there are two companies where they are tonight. Plan tomorrow is to head to Alola Village. Everyone continues to do well.

Trek 1121: A big day today that now finds them at the foot of Mt Bellamy. Tomorrow they plan on reaching Isurava for the night.
Apparently its been a wet track today as both treks head towards the finish line in Kokoda on the 9th July.
