Bob McDonald's diary – recommended by both Bev & I as a great addition to your trek:
Diary_200.jpgOn the 28th February it will mark the end of one journey and the beginning of another … why… coz I just quit my full time job to devote to promoting not only the Kokoda Trail but all over PNG.
There was no longer flexibility in the work place to combine my love for PNG and continue my full time employment so I chose to follow my dreams and devote my time to tourism.
Will keep you all posted as to where this journey will lead me, but I do know like on the trail, I can make sure you have a great stay here in PNG and will do my best to ensure that.
After meeting up with Stan Bisset on the Sunshine Coast in January this year, it is my desire to keep the memory of him, his brother Butch and others like him, alive.
On the way up to meet with Stan we were invited to lunch with Bob McDonald from McDonald's corner. I had corresponded several times with Bob and it was good to finally put a face to his name.
