I am and doing the trek in April this year and want to know if anyone has been vaccinated for Japanese Encephalitis? Is it necessary? have heard mixed reports.

    Hi Bobo,

I see no-one has answered you. Yu won't need Japanses Encephalitis, but you will need tetnus, typhiod and polio.

Make sure you have them in plenty of time as they are a course of needles.

    cheers
