MemberUpdate 2nd July: All trekkers spent the night as planned at Russell's family block in Kokoda and moved out this morning around 6:30 and headed to Isurava Village.
Tonight I received a message by two way radio that all treks as planned had reached their destination and that everyone did just great today.
they will give another update from Alola tomorrow morning after they stop at Isurava Monument area and head off to the next village.
I asked about Shaun Bourke the young 16 year old carrying his own pack as part of his Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award. Arnold Jinga their guide remarked, his pack is heavier than ours! but he has done really well today.

MemberUpdate 4th July: Trek 303 trekkers have made it to Kagi where they will spend the night. Their guide Chris sounded really excited as he reported in. At the moment they area ahead of the other treks who headed off on the same day.

MemberUpdate 4th July: Trek 382 & 388 are spending the night at 1900. All trekkers are doing ok according to Chris trek 303 guide from Kagi Village as the other two are down low and its hard for us to hear them from there. Tomorrow they will walk via Kagi to Efogi where they will spend the night.
