After arriving in Popondetta, they were met by our staff and taken to the Popondetta War Museum before heading to Papindo to top up on some water, then up the road to Pija Village where they stopped for something to eat and a nice warm welcome to the Oro Province of PNG.

After leaving Piza they were driven to Kokoda War Museum, then under the archway and onto to the track. Their first night was spent at Deniki.

Another tough day yesterday as they made their way to 1900/Myola Junction where they camped for the night. According to Wayne they are making such good time that they would like to come out a day early and head to the Airway's Hotel. Go team 994:

Trekkers have now reached Ofi Creek where they are spending the night. Today was a tough day as they hit Maguli Range – all good however with this group of trekkers and tomorrow they start to head to the finish line. Planning to reach Ua'Ule Creek tomorrow night and Goldie the following night.

Congratulations are in order for this group of 6 as they walked off the track at Owers' Corner around 3pm this afternoon. They will now have two nights at the Airways Hotel before heading back home. Well done everyone from all of us here at Kokoda Trekking.
