Boss Meri
MemberWhen Malcolm Cameron contacted us to ask if we would take him across the track at this time of the year on his own, we said yes, we can do it. So on Monday Malcolmn flew to Port Moresby where he spent the night. Yesterday he was up bright and early to catch his flight to Popondetta. This was followed by a drive up to Kokoda, arriving at our base around 3:30pm.
This morning he had another early start after spending the night at Orohaven for the commencement of his trek.
The guide for this trek is Clement Harika accompanied by Ramsy Idau.

MemberClement sent a message as follows: quote Hello Bossmeri, we're at Dump No 1 (Mt Bellamy area). Trekker is excellent, myself and Ramsy are fine! Cheers – Clement
So good news, they have reported in and they are all ok.

MemberThis trek have now reached Agulogo where they will camp for the night. Slight rain today but other than that, its been dry all the way from Kokoda. Clement said they are all well and enjoying themselves. Seems Malcolm enjoyed eating the choko's they cooked.

MemberThis trek has now reached Ioribaiwa where they are spending the night. Getting closer to the finish line now so Malcolm must be getting excited.
Today would have been a tough day as most trekkers find Maguli Range quite hard.

MemberCongratulations are in order as this trek walked through the archway at Owers' Corner earlier this morning. On the way back to Port Moresby they went into Bomana War Cemetery. What a place to be at 11am on the 11th November.
Well done Malcolm from all of us here at Kokoda Trekking.
