Trek 981 – Trek Completed

Trekkers had an early start this morning when they were all on the bus at 6am and driven out to Bomana War Cemetery on the outskirts of Port Moresby. Trekkers in this group include :

Paul Meikle met with his personal porter Rommy Awuki who showed some initiative. Rommy asked for the name of his trekker and brought with him from Kokoda a carved walking stick. Paul was really excited and showing it off to everyone saying it was definitely going on his wall.
