My apology for not updating until now. Their first night on the track was at Isurava Village. The following night at Templeton's Crossing and last night at Kagi.

Today they have reached Menari village and tomorrow head to Naoro. According to our guide, its a very dry track and all trekking are doing well and making good time.

This trek reached Naoro Village around 12:30pm today and are presently having their lunch. Ernst has decided to say put there for the night as planned to give trekkers a rest. Two trekkers from the UK are already asking about a t/shirt saying they want to wear it back home on the flight.

The group have now arrived at Ioribaiwa Village and now on the home run and looking forward to finishing their trek and even thinking of a few beers to celebrate. One of the female trekkers was sick earlier today but is now ok. Two nurses on this trek and a doctor heading in the opposite direction so in good hands. Tomorrow they plan on stopping at Goodwater and walking off the track as planned on Friday.

Congratulations to Trek 979 as they spent last night at Goldie River and walked off the track this morning. At the moment two trekkers have been dropped at their accommodation as spending a night in Port Moresby. The other four are at our base waiting on their flight back to Australia departing at 5pm.

Well done everyone. Thanks for choosing to walk with Kokoda Trekking.
