MemberClement called in today to say they spent the first night at Goodwater and last night at Ioribaiwa. It seems its been raining and the track is quite slippery so they are just taking it slow. Today they are trying to reach Agulogo but may stop at Naoro instead.
Both trekkers are doing ok.

MemberWinton Graham twisted his ankle and was airlifted off the track at Agulogo around 3:45pm. His son Simon continued on and should reach Brigade Hill for the night. Clement and Winton's personal porter Deshon have now commenced walking to catch up to the lead group. I spoke to Winton, he is ok but just cannot continue his walk.

MemberSimon and our boys have now reached an area referred to as 'Dump 1'. They fell behind due to Winton's injury but have now made up time and on track to walk off the track as per schedule. I got to talk to Simon and he seems to be really enjoying his walk. He was happy to hear about his father and the fact he will wait for him to finish and they will fly back together as previously planned.

MemberCongratulations are in order as Simon walked off the track yesterday in Kokoda and this morning was up bright and early for his flight to Port Moresby to catch up with his father Winton.
This afternoon they both caught their flight back to Australia.
Thanks guys for choosing to walk with Kokoda Trekking.
All photographs taken on the track were posted to our facebook page.
