MemberPat phoned around 7pm to say they were all safely at Naoro Village and settled for the night. Some trekkers were already in bed and some were still up enjoying the music with our boys. Pat echoed comments made by our other guides, that they experienced rain today and a slippery track. One of our porters Clement fell and hurt himself but seems ok now after Pat worked on him with some medicine he is carrying with him. Tomorrow the group will head to Menari for the night. With the exception of Clement, no other issues to report.
The group spent last night at Ua'Ule Creek.

MemberTrekkers reached their destination for today around midday. Pat said they were all happy to arrive at Menari and settle in for a restful afternoon in readiness for a tough day tomorrow as they walk through Efogi the half way point and walk up to Kagi for the night.
Everyone continues to do well.

MemberThis group of trekkers reached Kagi Village around 3pm this afternoon. Some people say its harder via Kagi than Naduri but according to Pat their guide, he prefers to walk the Kagi route.
Tomorrow they will head to Myola Junction and then down to Templeton's Crossing for the night if all goes according to plan.

MemberTrekkers have now reached Isurava Village and tomorrow will walk off the track into Kokoda. Pat and Swanny have had a tough day as some of the trekkers were way ahead of them and they had to play catch up.

MemberTrekkers walked off the track as planned into Kokoda only this time round with a new twist. What's that you say? Well it would appear after 7 nights and 8 days their porters looked after them on the track.
These guys turned the tables around and on the last leg made a stretcher and carried the backpacks down to Kokoda and under the archway.
HOWEVER, before walking off they cooled off in Hoi Village creek.

MemberOne of the porters suggested they welcome both treks to Kokoda that finished the same day. Turned out family members got involved and before long a sing sing group from Kokoda were organised to be on hand to welcome them to our base.
