    Hi everyone, sorry about no feedback yesterday as I was in and out organising the trek heading out today and may have missed their call.

    This morning 7am – 17th July, I spoke to Alice (John's wife) by two way radio in Kokoda and she said the group is expected today around 10am.

    They will arrive in Kokoda Station and have a look around at the monuments and Kokoda War Museum and then work their way down to Rusty's Family Block to a sing sing (traditional) welcome.

    I have asked Alice once they have all settled to come on the radio for an update.

    Will keep you all posted later today after I have spoken to them.

    Photograph: Sing Sing Welcome for another group last year but it will give you an idea of how our trekkers are welcomed when they reach the Eroro Family Block:

    They will also soon get used to the words – ORO ORO ORO….ORO ORO ORO….which means WELCOME!

    Richard, said tks for that, we have had a great time, see you Tuesday.

    Richard told me they were welcomed by a sing sing and heaps of food prepared by the women you see here pictured on a previous trek.

    As we spoke by two way radio, they were at a soccer match and could not work out which team was which but were enjoying it anyway…haha

    They had a swim in the creek also earlier today after they arrived at Rusty's block to clean up after finishing their trek.

    Update 18th July, 2005;

    Trek 95
    The group left Russell?s family block, early hours this morning and off they went for a spin, as we PNG?s like to say. Our KTL 1 truck took the trekkers around Popondetta to have a last look around the area before coming back into Port Moresby this afternoon.

    Now aboard Air Nuigini, they are all on their way back into Pom. All trekkers are well, and we?ll be looking forward to meeting up with them tonight.

    Welcome Back & Congratulations
