MemberFive trekkers left Owers' Corner yesterday and found their adventure had really started when it took them over 2 hours to cross Goldie River due to it being flooded. Our boys made a raft and got them and the backpacks safely across the other side. Trekkers in this group include :
-
[*]Michael Harris
[*]Joe Cacciotti
[*]Ken Cooper
[*]David Brown
[*]Andrew EastonLast night was spent at Goodwater campsite. Tonight sees the group pull up at Ioribaiwa Village. Due to the track being wet and slippery they are taking it easy. Today was supposed to see them at Ofi Creek but time was against them. Tomorrow they will try and head to Agulogo for the night.

MemberTrekkers have now reached Naoro Village where they are going to spend the night. The weather today is fine which is good news as it will make it easier for them. Everyone remains ok.

MemberGreat memories of our previous Trek, starting off at Owers in the rain! all the way through to Menari and the walk down the strip before heading to the right and the climb up the ridge to look back over Menari Village.

MemberOur guide was exact, at 1:53pm today our group arrived at Kagi Village. Everyone continues to do well. The plan tomorrow is to head to Templeton's Crossing II. Arnold reports nil injuries to porters and trekkers so even better news.

MemberLast night was spent at Templeton's Crossing II. Today they have stopped at Isurava Village for the night. Earlier today they walked across the cane bridge at Eroro Creek; climbed up to Alola Village, then on to Isurava Memorial.
A decision was made by their guide Arnold to push on to Isurava Village. All trekkers and porters are doing just great.
Tomorrow they will walk off the track into Kokoda and under the archway.
