Trekkers spent last night at Ua'Ule Creek. Today they will head to Ofi Creek. According to Pat their trek leader, everyone at this stage are doing really well. Some of the men led the way out front along with Alarna. No-one is struggling so this is a good sign they will all do ok.

Trekkers have now reached Ofi Creek. Everyone continues to do well. It was decided to give them a short day today and a long walk tomorrow as they tackle Maguli Range, walk through Naoro Village and head to Agulogo for the night. This morning they woke up to the smell of buns being cooked for them by Maryanne. Locals refer to them as 'scones'. Apparently they were all soon eaten.

The trekkers did the opposite to the photograph, they had to walk down not up to reach the creek as they are walking in the opposite direction to the trekkers shown below.

Pat just called to say they are all safely at Agulogo. The last person arrived there around 3pm. Tonight they are sharing the area with one other trekking company. Maryanne asked Pat to carry some flour for her so tonight and tomorrow morning she is going to cook something with it to serve to trekkers.

Perhaps Pat does not want to carry the extra kg's going up Brigade Hill tomorrow. One trekker had blisters yesterday but no mention today so assume its all ok. They plan on starting to walk tomorrow at 6:30am and to overnight at Efogi the half way point. Pat emphasised everyone is fit and enjoying the trek.

Pat just reported in from Efogi to say they arrived there around 3pm this afternoon. Today it rained quite heavily so trekkers got to experience walking in the wet. A couple of them questioned that someone like Brendan Buka could run it in 16:34.

Apparently they woke this morning to some scones and a damper was cooked tonight by Maryanne. When she left she asked me to purchase a dozen eggs. I was advised that even slipping and sliding today that the eggs survived! Pat said trekkers were enjoying the boys singing and that everyone was happy and looking forward to their walk tomorrow up to Kagi and then down to 1900/Myola Junction for the

Heard from the track that they are now at 1900/Myola Junction. They had a tough day today climbing up to Kagi without much cover and feeling the heat. Everyone continues to do well despite the tough day. They thought they would be running into a lot of other trekking companies but so far they have had the campsites to themselves. Tomorrow they head to Eora Creek.

Pat also mentioned that last night some of the trekkers were dancing and having a good time at Efogi listening to Sione and the boys singing.

This trek has now reached Eora Creek. Yesterday was no cover and heat but today its been DOWNHILL and havoc with the knees! Last night four of our boys dressed traditionally and did something special for the trekkers. According to Pat, one of our boys Horace Yauga dressed as a female. It seems trekkers loved it and Pat was bubbling as he told me what they did. Yes, trekkers maybe doing it tough but it seems they are enjoying their trek, well lets hope so. The cane bridge is located at Eora Creek so picture your loved ones crossing it. Tomorrow they will walk up through Alola Village and down to Isurava Village for the night.

Trekkers are now on their last night on the track and are now at Isurava Village for the night. Earlier today they stopped at the Isurava Memorial to pay their respects and spent at least an hour there. From the way Pat spoke, a very moving and emotional time for everyone as they reflected on their own experience and the diggers whose footsteps they walked in. It seems everyone contributed to the service held there both trekkers and porters. Tomorrow they will walk off into Kokoda around midday.
