MemberEarlier this week Brendan Buka walked off from Owers' Corner with his two trekkers, Sara Robertson and Stuart Walker.
Sorry for not updating earlier but have been experiencing problems with the internet. I managed to post on Facebook when I was able to get on so hope you have been following their progress from there.
Today Brendan phoned up to say the trekkers are very fast. Apparently they skipped Agulogo where they planned on staying and last night was at Menari. Earlier today, they walked up Brigade Hill then down to Efogi where they made a decision to keep on walking. The end result was they pulled up at Naduri where they are spending the night.
The plan tomorrow is to head to Eora Creek. Brendan assured me there was no problems whatsoever with his two trekkers and porters which is great news.

MemberIntroducing their guide – BRENDAN BUKA. Brendan Buka is also the holder of the Kokoda Track record in both directions of the track so for him to state they are fast and fit, can be respected. In this direction, Brendan set a record in 2006 of 16:34.
Do not let his size fool you, he is only small in build but as strong as an ox.

MemberTrekkers have now reached Alola/Isurava area. Not 100% sure as when I spoke to Brendan he informed me plan a) was Alola and plan <img src='http://www.kokodatrail.com.au/forums/public/style_emoticons//cool.png’ class=’bbc_emoticon’ alt=’B)’ /> was Isurava.
Brendan said trekkers continued to do well.

MemberCongratulations are in order for Sara and Stuart as they spent last night at Hoi and today walked off the track into Kokoda.
At the present time they are in relaxation mode at Orohaven Kokoda Retreat.
Well done! Thanks for choosing to walk with us at Kokoda Trekking.
