Trek 796 is now at Deniki for the night and will walk out in Kokoda tomorrow morning! I spoke to Paul and his wife (Wendy's personal porter) and they were really excited to know that tomorrow they will reach Kokoda. They both thanked me for giving them the opportunity of walking with Wendy.
Day_7_View_of_Kokoda_and_airstrip_from_Deniki__640x480___640x480_.jpgCongratulations to Wendy who is now at Orohaven Kokoda Retreat after successfully completing her trek across the Kokoda Track. Well done Wendy from all of us here at Kokoda Trekking. A few minutes ago I spoke with Wendy and she seemed excited to have finished and for now was just enjoying sitting and doing nothing! There are two aussie guys there at the moment putting in the new weather station so no doubt they will give her someone to talk to while she waits to fly back into Port Moresby tomorrow morning.
