Trekkers were at Isurava Memorial about to head down to Deniki for the night when Andrew called me from the track.
Andrew said him and the boys have thoroughly enjoyed their company and it will go down as one of his top favourite treks!
How is that for an endorsement of how their trek has gone so far. He said some of the guys wanted to pull out earlier on but they they all came together as a team and tomorrow they can celebrate their successful trek.
Just listening to him on the phone I could sense the excitement in his voice as he raved about their trek. I think when they all get back home you will be hearing lots of stories. Some are even talking about coming back I am led to believe!

Day_7_Isurava_memorial_view_down_valley__640x480_.jpgCongratulations to trek 756 as they walked off the track this morning and by 9:30am I am led to believe were already at Orohaven Kokoda Retreat where they are presently relaxing with a few beers and pizza's.
Well done everyone from all of us here at Kokoda Trekking.
Today they would have passed under the Kokoda Archway before looking around the Kokoda Station and walking on down to Orohaven Kokoda Retreat.
