MemberWallace called in today from Jap's Ladder to say there were ok and on the move to Agulogo where the plan was to spend the night. Wallace seemed quite happy with their progress and was looking forward to another day with his new group of trekkers.

MemberWallace called in to say the group have reached Efogi II. Apparently when they got to where we normally stay at Landy Noel's guesthouse, trekkers did not want to stop and asked to continue walking so Efogi II it is.
The group have now passed the half way point and tomorrow will start heading for the finish line! The group as a whole are all doing well.

MemberAdam, we are very envious of your adventure and the scenery looks amazing. I hope that you don't lose sight of the significance of this trek and think of the many diggers of a different era walking the same journey but in very different circumstances. Enjoy the experience, take care, and save some energy for Cairns next week!

Have been tracking you along on my Kokoda Map with Michelle every few hours per John's GPS. Well Done. Amazing that it now 22 months since I did it. Need to get back there. Cheers, Mick Bain

MemberHi John (Stroudy). Well done on your progress so far. Hope you're taking heaps of photos as the scenery looks amazing. Such a significant journey you have taken on. We are very proud of you. Good luck as it looks like it's getting more challenging. Brody sends a cuddle and a kiss your way. Love Denise, Nicki and Brody. P.S. Those boots were made for walking (Mum told me to add that! Mum joke!)

MemberTrekkers have now reached Templeton's Crossing one where they are spending a rather cold night it seems as Wallace compared it to MELBOURNE! They also appear to be one day ahead of their schedule so looks like they fill have two days in Kokoda instead of one.
It seems Wallace is having a hard time slowing down the three guys so they must be really fit and doing it easily!
Tomorrow the plan is to spend the night at Isurava Village.

MemberToday trekkers walked past Eora Creek and up to Alola Village and then onto Isurava Battlesite before settling down for the night at Isurava Village. It appears they are all looking forward to walking off the track tomorrow!
Today no doubt they would have had a service at the memorial and had a group photograph taken similar to this one.
