Yesterday, saw our latest two trekkers arrive in Port Moresby and head out to Sogeri Lodge via a stopover at Bomana War Cemetery. Trekkers are a father and daughter team:

P1170015__640x480_.JPGAs planned, we picked up Vince and Kristie around 8am and drove them out to Owers' Corner the drop off point along with our staff who would be accompanying them on the track. Before we left Sogeri, they both suggested a photograph outside the entrance to the Sogeri Lodge. This was followed by a pat of the little puppies and we were soon driving off towards Owers'.

P1170064__640x480_.JPGLast night trekkers spent the night at Ua'Ule Creek and today will walk to Ofi Creek where they will spend the night. According to Eric they did really well yesterday.

Looking_back_at_Naoro_from___640x480_.jpgHeard from Eric today a couple of hours after they left Agulogo and he said they were all ok and were heading for Efogi. Apparently last night both of our groups spent the night together at Agulogo.

Love Marg.Trekkers are now heading for home and although I have not heard from them today, they should be at Eora Creek tonight. According to a trek that came off the track this afternoon, they have had a bit of rain over the other side towards the Kokoda end of the track. Tomorrow they should reach Isurava Monument area and then head down to Isurava Village to spend their last night on the track.
Eora_Creek_2.jpgCongratulations to Vince and Kristie as they walked off the track today into Kokoda. The last I heard was that they were relaxing at Orohaven Kokoda Retreat. Tomorrow they will be driven down to Popondetta to catch their flight back to Port Moresby. Well done!
IMGP2880__640x480_.JPGNot long arrived back home after meeting up with Vince and Kristie whose plane was delayed out of Popondetta. Instead of arriving at 9am they arrived after 11 and then after a short talk, they went straight to the International Terminal building to book in for their flight to Australia.
Well done to both of them. They looked well and appeared excited about their experience.
