Congratulations are in order as trekkers walked off the track on the 30th April and flew back into Port Moresby on the 1st July where they were met and driven to Sogeri Lodge. On the way up, they were driven into Bomana War Cemetery which had quite an impact after having completed the trek.
During the afternoon they relaxed at Sogeri Lodge and around 5:30pm they walked down to the Kokoda Trail Motel for a few drinks and dinner, later returning to the Sogeri Lodge where they spent the night.
Around 10am this morning they will be driven down to Port Moresby to catch their flight back home with the exception of one who is heading over to Loloata Dive Resort for some R & R.
