MemberMy apologies as I am late in getting this up on our website as I have been in Kokoda and could not access the internet down there. I met with the two trekkers last weekend and travelled down with them to Kokoda inside Tropic Air's Cessna Caravan on Sunday 1st August.
Trekkers are:
Graham Anderson & Warwick McNab

MemberAlong for the ride was my driver / come builder who headed over to Kokoda to help finish off some work presently being done at Orohaven Kokoda Retreat, our base in Kokoda. The photographs below were taken as we made our approach into Kokoda.

MemberLast night 5th August trekkers had reached the half way point of Efogi. They will stay tonight at Agulogo which is not far from Menari village on the way to Naoro. All is good with the whole group and they are on target to finish on the 9th August.

MemberUpdate 7th August: Received a phone call from Tony today from Maguli Ridge. Today they were heading to Ioribaiwa Village to spend the night. All of them were doing ok with no problems.

Member8th August: Tony phoned in today to say they were on the move and would be up at Owers' Corner around 7:30am tomorrow morning. They sent in a request for beer. However, its Sunday today and beer sales are closed so they will be out of luck! We will however, provide them with some cold drinks and something to eat at the finish line.

MemberOn the 9th August, trekkers were picked up from Owers' Corner and driven back to Port Moresby. Unfortunately I was in Kokoda when they returned and did not get the chance to meet. According to my staff, they thoroughly enjoyed their trek.
We would like to thank them for choosing to walk with us.
warm regards
Gail and the Team at Kokoda Trekking
