MemberLatest note on the trail, 22nd June 2005;
Apologies to viewers;
Unfortunately for now, I have not had any radio contacts with either of the group guides; therefore, I cannot fill you in on their latest or pass any messages to any trekkers at this time, due to radio reception not clear or transmitting.All three groups (58 – A, 58 – B & 58 – C) are in lower grounds, that is why, it is hard for me to make any radio contacts. However, if the guides do get, or find a better spot that could get the two-way-radio to transmit, then I might be able to talk to the guide and get the latest reports of his trek.
I?m pretty sure; everyone?s fine and doing ok. Tonight, they will all camp at Myola Junction and proceed on to either Kagi or Efogi tomorrow, it's up to the guides to decided on that. But we'll find out all about that, when they come out of Myola Junction tomorrow, and also get full reports of all three groups.

Trek 58- A
The group has reached Kagi. So far no bad news, everything?s ok so is everyone, they?ve all walked well today. They will camp at Kagi tonight and proceed to their next destination tomorrow.Has you can see, this trekkers are fast and so they are reaching their camping areas well before time, which gives them enough and more time to rest and have a look around the village, crash sites including monuments and other stuff.
Yesterday the group also moved faster and well before time, they arrived at Myola Junction, with a lot of time, to have lunch and have enough rest.
Likewise, they did an outstanding walk, no one had any injuries or such, they were all ok and fine at the end of the day.Trek 58- B
All trekker have reached Kagi village, and are slowly proceeding down to Efogi where they will camp for the night. The group started off, early this morning, therefore have reached Kagi at this time.Everything?s ok, so are all the trekkers, still looking strong and doing terrific, weather at their end still hot, like it has been for the last how many days they?ve been walking.
Yesterday, the group was way ahead of the time, and reached Myola Junction well before 12pm lunch time, which was really early, but then again it was good for them too, coz they must have had a good long rest after their lunch.
Though it was a tiring and exhausting climbing up Templeton?s Crossing, none of the trekkers had difficulties or problems, they all did extremely great.Trek 58- C
They arrived at Kagi not long ago, and rested for a few minutes and now slowly moving down to their next destination Efogi 1. Everything and everyone?s doing ok, no difficulties with any trekkers, all still looking fit and well.At the moment their guide Lendy is down at Efogi 1, with two other food-porters, trying to prepare lunch for the group coming down.
After the lunch is over at Efogi 1, they will proceed on to Efogi 2 and camp there for the night.Yesterday, they too did the same as the other two groups, reaching their camping destination well before time. But everyone was ok and did well, and had a pretty good rest, after doing a whole lot of climbing.
Other then that, everything was ok all throughout yesterday, all three groups did fine.
To all family members who sent messages to their loved ones, your messages will be passed on to them, as soon as they are settled in their camp sites.

?Hi kids, I?m ok and having a good time. I miss you all and give a kiss to dad for me.Love Mom?
When I spoke to Cathy and sent the message, she was so happy and excited to hear from you all back home. It took her some time to talk back to me, coz her voice was shaking and she had tears of joy in her eyes.

?Thank you very much for the message; I?m ok, and having a great time out here. Though, I will have a lot of stinky wash when I get back home.?Love Andrew?.

The two groups are now moving side by side, currently at Menari River, taking some rest.While some trekkers munch away their lunch, other who have finished go for a quick bath in the river.
All trekkers are fine, and doing good. No say or report of anyone having difficulties or problems yet, all seemed to be looking fit, so more great news still coming from the trail.
Trek 58- A
As for this group, they are slowly moving down to the river side. All taking their time and enjoying the days walk, when they reach Menari River, they will have lunch and proceed on to their next destination Menari village, to camp for the night.All trekkers are ok, enjoying the company of their porters and guides.
