It's now almost 3pm. It's going to be 15 degrees today. Down to 5 this morning. Bet it's a bit warmer over there….and muggy.

7th October: We heard from Johnsford this afternoon that they were at Jap's ladder and were thinking of staying there the night instead of moving on to Naoro.

All trekkers were doing ok with no problems whatsoever at this stage along with the guides and porters.

So at this point, they all appear to be enjoying themselves and plodding along the track heading for the village of Naoro.

How are you going? Are you there yet??? (just kidding!!!)
Michelle cooked Mexican last night for dinner and it was delicious!
Anna came with Tamar to pick me up today and we went to Parramatta to do a little bit of shopping. Anna and Tamar sends you their best wishes.
Tomorrow night we are having dinner at Anna's and both David and I will be going with Michelle on Saturday to Gosford. We will be having Yam Cha for lunch before returning back to Sydney.
On Sunday Michelle will be going with us to see David's mum.

8th October:We heard from the track today that last night our guide was planning to spend the night at Ofi Creek however there was a landowner dispute going on there so they pushed on a little further up the track.

This morning they passed by another of our treks heading in the opposite direction. When I spoke to this group they said everyone was ok and at the time were heading up Maguli Range with the destination for today being Manari.

I am missing you at Kokoda and we had dinner at nan and pops last night and today we are going to the Jungle Book and I can ride without my training wheels on my bike and we are remembering to feed the dogs.
