Member26th September: We just heard from the track that they have reached Naoro Village where they plan on spending the night.
Last night they were at Ua'Ule Creek campsite so all is going along fine at this point.
Phil has been struggling today and only just got into the campsite around 6pm. The boys plan on taking some of his load off him and say then he should be fine.

Member27th September: Sorry have not heard from track today but they should be in Efogi by now. Unfortunately there was a death on the track today but at this stage we are not quite sure where. Someone mentioned Brigade Hill and if this correct they would have passed by this group today who are trekking in the same direction.
We heard from another trek one day behind them that its raining quite heavy so we are thinking they may have trouble picking up a signal on the sat phone. However, they must be ok otherwise they would be calling our base on the two way radio but with the death the radio network has been really busy so they could have tried but gave up due to the emergency.
If they have reached Efogi today then they would already be at the half way point and its also where we fly in the other half's rations.
We will report as soon as we hear from them.
