One of the managers at work just came back from Kokoda the day you flew out – he said it was very physically demanding, but that the experience has changed his life. Hope you have a 'life changing experience' too! Hope there is not too much rain, and that your boots are comfy.

On another note Bruce and Tanya will do there utmost to get to Brisy airport to see you when you fly in so keep an eye out for them. Bruce has Monday off work so he said he would be there..

Nana and poppa send their love yet again as do I. Elizabeth said to say hi so does Victoria and Peter. Norm says hi. Peter White says hi. Gail and charlie have been asking about you also. Harry sends his love. it would be better if they worked out how to send messages themselves.

Nat will try to get to the airport on Monday night to see you when you arrive. You'll have a nice welcoming party when you get back.

wondering where you are today, hope you are still on time and having no problems, we hear on the grapevine through the canberra mums that you are all in good spirits – just think your past half way. i am going to listen to the canberra radio tomorrow as they have some updates as well i am told. sammy just took of about 20 mins ago for noumea, becky at a sleepover and peter here and a bit lonely (lots of cuddles for him tonight) and for you when you get back… . i wont know what to do with my time as i am not running around after you guys. i really hope this changes your views on life too. you do only get out of life what you put into it (you know that deep down) look after yourself and your mates, be thoughtful of others. will check the site for more updates again in morning. thinking of you always. ps grandma said she will relax when you are home!!!
