    Hi Daniel J

Heard on the radio that you did the Ode. tongue.gif Way to go mate. I rang Nana, poppa, gran and Harry so that they could all listen to the replay on the radio. nana sends her love as does Harry and Gran. Bruce and Tanya will see if they can get to Brisy airport to see you when you arrive home but with 6 kids you know that they will be busy. I'm really proud of you mate. Keep putting one foot in front of the other and don't forget to stop at Bede's memorial and take some pics with the medallions. Bad luck about the rain but excellent news that you got to eat pig. biggrin.gif You were desparate to try that so your desire was met. Take care big guy. Rach and Peter send their best as well.

    Lots of Love
    Mum and the girls.

Kalma is jealous that you get to run around the jungle and she has to keep sniffing the same old places in the back yard and horse paddocks. She didn't go to the breeder. dry.gif Something wrong and she needs hormone injections. bugger of a dog she is.

    Love you heaps.

    Hi Andrew,

We've been listening to Lisa's updates on the radio and heard you reached Brigade Hill yesterday. We also heard that the RAAF were on the track restoring an old aircraft – "go the airforce"

Hope everyone is in good spirits and managing the terrain and weather okay.

We hope you are taking lots of photos – looking forward to the slide show night!!!

Take it easy 'grimmo' – thinking of you all the time.

    Luv Mum & Dad.

Update 24th September: Trekkers spent last night at Efogi the half way point and today were heading to Myola to spend the night. One of our treks heading in the opposite direction passed them today and said they were all doing ok.

The group from Kokoda head off tomorrow to catch up with them. The plan for them is to meet at Alola now not Isurava according to Doug when I last spoke to him on the phone from Kokoda.

    Hey Sam

It was soooooo good to hear from you. I am so pleased to know all that is well. You have done a fantastic job so far, on the down hill (so to speak) run now. Five more sleeps and you will be back home!

Mum and Tony send their love too, they want you to know how proud they are of you. Already planning your welcome home celebrations. Remember to let us know of any special requests for Monday night (I am sure you are well and truly over cheese and biscuits!)

Everything is going well at home and will be even better upon your safe return. Love you and miss you. See you soon.

Hi Sophie! We hope things are going well Luv. Great news here, Otto's team won their grand final! Otto played really well, close game. FTFandFTF Luvvie!
Coco said to tell you to get back home safe, well and soon. She is sick of only counting to three and has lost her walrus. Last night she had to chase off a desperado underneath the window. Keep fighting for grooviness.
    Love, us. xx rolleyes.gif

Good morning, Kokoda Kids, especially everyone from Canberra and of course, Lisa. Great to be able to follow your progress and Bede especially is with you every moment. Of course, in 1942, he could never dream of being a phone call away from Australia on the Track! And who would have thought about email!

Look out for the plaque at Templeton's Crossing and don't forget to hug a tree. We both know you are smiling all the way!
