MemberUpdate 28th June: Our guide radioed in from Naduri Lookout today saying they were ok and on the move towards Myola Junction where they would spend the night.
I may have got the wrong message re Steve as a radio message from Alola today confirmed another guy who shares the same name has knee problems so my apologies if it turns out to be the wrong Steve!

MemberHey Matt, Russell and Steve
Not long to go now, can't wait to greet you at the airport on Friday! Spoke with Andre today and passed on details of pics on the web so he's gonna check out your journey too.
The funniest coincidence happened at the airport in Melbourne today….there was a group of 15 heading off to the kokoda trail…..they were very excited and I told them about you guys on day 6 of your trek! They were pumped and were asking lots of questions, I pulled out the map you gave me and we were all looking at it!!!
Take care you guys and I'm so proud of you
Lots of love Kelly30/06/2008 at 4:23 am #100139Boss Meri
MemberUpdate 30th June: Sorry, the radios have been playing up but we have heard via the Kokoda grapevine that trekkers on target and everything is going ok.

MemberUpdate 30th June: Trekkers walked off the trek today so congratulations are in order, well done!
Tomorrow they will have a rest day in Kokoda and will fly back in on the 2nd July.
Tonight they will sleep in our camp in Kokoda in a traditional win haus.
Maybe they will fight over the hammock or will sleep on a mattress in slightly more comfort then the past few days!
