Three trekkers headed out from Owers' Corner on the 23rd June as planned. This group was originally part of trek 421 who left the day before.

    Trekkers are:

Russ Morgan; Matt Goodsir and Stephen O'Dell

Photographs to follow later as I am presently in Australia and they will be uploaded from one of my staff in PNG.

Glen the Trek Guide called at 4.30 local time today that Steve, Matt and Russ are cheerful and enjoying the walk. They will be overniting tonight at Ofi creek.

Update 27th June: Have just heard from the track at 3:45 that trek 506 have now reached the half way point of Efogi. Earlier this morning they had lunch at Brigade Hill before moving down to where they will spend the night.

I read out your messages and they said they were all fine and enjoying their trek. Steven is having problems with his knees but still going ok.

    Gidday Matt Russ & Bone.
Nola sent me an email directing me to your site & photos – they look great & gives a glimpse of the ruggedness.
Hey Bone, you must be taking the photos.

You are all looking very fit and ready for another trek as soon as this one is over. Hope that you can get some reception for SoO 3 on Wed night. Take care & enjoy. Minus 3 in Stanthorpe today.

    Kurt
