MemberUpdate 11th July: David Clark rang by sat phone around 6am this morning to report that yesterday they stopped for the night at Isurava Monument area instead of pushing on to Isurava Village as it seems Laurie is still doing it tough as he now has knee problems.
(won't he have some stories to tell when he gets back home?).Today they will walk down to Kokoda Station and will spend tonight at our camp in Kokoda near the airstrip.
David sounded really HAPPY
that they were all going to make it to Kokoda.

MemberHi Matt
Way to go sweetheart, you have almost completed your trek! I am so proud of you! Every day I have been looking at the updates and photos and know I could not have done what you have done!!! I would have to train for a year at least! And you know how I "like" exercise!
It has been really cold here at nights and Hogan actually slept under our bed the night before cause he was so cold and believe it or not Dad let him! I never knew a dog could snore so much! By the way Hoges is really missing you too.
This week Alison went ice skating and to a party! So she has had some fun too! She is looking forward to seeing you as we all are.
Have a great party time at Kokoda and "let your hair down"!
Love you very much and look forward to seeing you on Sunday!
Love Mum
