Boss Meri
MemberTrek 486 headed out yesterday from Owers' Corner leaving Port Moresby around 6am. Today they have already reached Nauro Village and were talking of heading down to Agulogo to spend the night. At Agulogo tonight we also have two other treks heading in the opposite direction so if they made it to the campsite no doubt there will be a huge gathering of lots of our porters sharing stories and fun with our trekkers.
In this trek we have:
Mike Little (3rd time trekker) with his daughter Andrea Little; Jodi Woolcock who I believe is struggling today a couple of hours behind the lead group; Mark Williams and his son Nick Williams and Dr. Lara Herrero

MemberUpdate 5th July: We heard from Chris today that they had passed by Agulogo and Menari and had spent the night at Brigade Hill. The plan today was to head past Efogi and down to Templeton's area or Eora Creek to spend the night. These trekkers are well on target to finish their 5 day trek….whew! the pace frightens me…..just to think of what they are doing!!!

MemberUpdate 6th July: Heard from Chris today that they spent last night at Templeton's and this morning called in from Mt Bellamy on the way down to Eora Creek. He did not mention where they planned on staying tonight but no doubt will hear from him later today.
Alola Village area where they will pass by today:

MemberUpdate 6th July: Congratulations to trek 486 – right on target trekkers walked off the track today and as I type this they are relaxing and singing at our camp in Kokoda. Poor Jodi did it the toughest and one of our porters Wayne Urina piggy backed her part of today so she will have lots of stories to tell when she gets back home.
Tomorrow morning they will walk up to the Kokoda Station and have a look around before flying back into Port Moresby.
