MemberTrekkers spent the next night at Rod Ori's place in Kovelo. The following morning they walked down into the Kokoda Station Monument area and then down to the airport to wait for Shirley and Vern Tessier who were flying in from Port Moresby to join them.
The plan was then to return to Rod's place at Kovelo where they once again spent the night.
This morning up early for the walk back down to the airport to wait for their flight to bring them back to Port Moresby.

MemberUpdate 22nd July 3:30pm: Trekkers arrived back in town around 10am this morning and dropped off their gear at our depot before heading down to Boroko for a look around. Vern and Shirley headed off to the Yacht Club for lunch instead.
Later they were all picked up and returned to our residence, picked up their t/shirts and certificates and were driven down to the airport to wait for their flight to Cairns.
Shirley said she was feeling tired after a pig and rooster keeping her awake on and off all night. The guys looked like they had a great time with Rod Ori, Wallace Lemeki and our KTL boys. Special mention was made of a young lad by the name of Jimmy and soon they were off but not before we had time to take a photograph, refer below.
On behalf of Management and Staff we would like to say thanks for choosing to trek with us.
