I have been keen to know how they were going. Good to hear about Allison – she is the cousin of my partner Ian.
It is also nice to know where they expect to camp tonight as I can look it up on the map.

Trekkers will overnight at 1900. Its usually cold at night at this height above sea level. Here are some file pictures.

kokoda_station__Small_.jpgTrekkers are now resting at our camp in Kokoda and all going well with flight times, should be back in Port Moresby around 10am tomorrow.

Camp_Kokoda_122.JPGUpdate 10th August: Met up with trekkers from trek 465 around 2pm this afternoon and they appeared to have thoroughly enjoyed their trek. Most were retirees from the Gold Coast and a couple from Victoria. It was really satisfying to hear all their stories and to prove once again that any age can walk the track as not one medevac amongst them.
So well done Trek 465, congratulations from all of us here at KTL.
