I hear you are lost! What did I tell you to do if you ever got into trouble? It seems you have ignored my warnings as I have not received any calls from the Salvation Army yet!!! Have you run out of money (or maybe puff)??? Don't look at ME then!!! Maybe it is too dark!!!
I hope you haven't gone too far off the track otherwise you will lead all the others astray. Hope you are ok!!
Love ya heaps

I finished prac today, and got a bottle of wine from the PDHPE dept and hugs from all my kids today, i'm really sad to leave but all the same Cant wait to go back to uni on Monday. Alittle bit of normality would be good ( well as normal as we are when im at uni). Got work in the morning not looking forward to the early start ( so i'm just chillen and watching footy tonight) and looks like im heading out to maddie and welchy's house warming – Terri has request me apperently due to boredom (

They tell us you may be lost
, turk and i told you not to play with the map and compass???
Stay safe sweety and enjoy the rest of your trip.

MemberMy love – YOU PROMISED ME YOU WOULDN'T GET LOST THIS TIME!
That's TWO hikes in a row! Christian!!!!!!!! Craig!!!!!!!!All jokes aside – I pray everything is okay.
I trust you are doing alright and the group is just taking each step one at a time. You will reach your goal tomorrow.
Kokoda.
Such victory is sure to be sweet.
Take pride in your achievement – not many people can do what you guys are.
I am proud of you Chief!I hope you have plenty of memorabilia to bring home. Photo's included!
(Just make sure you remember to declare it at Customs!)
Not even a postcard! How rude!
Haven't you heard of pigeons!? Or swallows?! From Africa!?
Make sure you spend up before you come home.Look forward to seeing your handsome face Sunday night – and finally talking with you.
I've missed you greatly. I've missed talking with you. Having you here.
Love you darling.
Two more nights to go.
One more day to walk. You can do it.
Love you.
See you real soon.

MemberHello family – just heard the news that you are "lost" ????
In your quest to find Charlie, you have lost yourselves ???? I am praying and trusting that you are just a little of the beaten track so to speak – maybe even found a short cut to Kokoda?
I will check in again in the morning – oh dear, it is morning – I will check later in the hope of some news that all is ok and that you arrived into Kokoda .
Love you all so much

MemberHi Craig
Lost???????
You can't even blame Adam or Jeff this time. Can't even blame the red wine seeing you didn't take any this hike or did you make a pit stop somewhere??????
You missed out on the peaceful sleep at Eora Creek, oh well next time!!!
Hannah's right, how rude not even a postcard, ha, ha. You sure it there wasn't a European swallow, that it could have been African?
I know why you are behind, it's the card game isn't it, you all got caught up playing 500.
Nicholas is counting down the sleeps till you get home and James is wanting you to come home but also not wanting you to come home because that would mean he would have had to have his assignment done, ready for you and him to do the final touches. Have tried but you know his teenage years have already kicked in.
Keep safe, you'll turn up, normally a coulple of hours after you ar suppose to, like last hike, or should we call in the SES, oh no that would be over reacting!

MemberHi Everyone (all our wonderful trekkers and even the loved ones left behind),
Our amazing trekkers are not lost they are GEOPRAPHICALLY EMBARRASSED AS MEN DO NOT LIKE TO STOP AND ASK FOR DIRECTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If it rained a day or so ago then the tough might have got going for them and stopped to rest early or the game of 500 did go way to long into the wee hours of the mornings and then more that likely Ben could get out of bed. They will all make it to kokoda village today.
We all here at home have great faith that Rod and Wallace will get them there even if they do have to boot camp it for the last leg.
Ben you wait til I tell all your cadets today that you are geographically embarrassed on the kokoda track. Bailey is going to give you soooooo much when he sees you.
Miss you guys dearly. Mars, Henah and myself are meeting today for more girly sanity and of course CHOCOLATE!!!!!!
Take care guys and we hopefully will hear from you soon.
Lots of Love and Hugs and Kisses

We are all bursting at the seems with pride and the excitement of you returning home to us.

MemberMorning my family
I am trusting that those once lost are now found – I am sure that by now you have sent Ben or Zac up the nearest coconut tree to check where you are. Hopefully you will see Kokoda and not the Great Wall of China from up there – if you see the wall, you've gone too far.
I can only imagine how you are all feeling today – steaming into Kokoda – Can't wait to see the photos of you all standing under the Kokoda Sign. You are all amazing !!!!
Take cares my family
Much love and hugs

MemberUpdate 16th August: Your guys have been FOUND!!! They are safe and well and last night was spent at Alola. Rod walked down to Kokoda to buy some refreshments and left the group in the care of Wallace Lemeki his 2IC to bring them down off the mountain.
After buying whatever he wanted he will walk back and rejoin the group. You gotta remember Rod once represented PNG in running so this is a walk in the park for him. He is also a 22 hour competitor from Owers' Corner to Kokoda.
So while your 'loved ones' are doing it tough coming down off the mountain Rod is stocking up on supplies and will not long catch up with them no doubt.
From what I can gather Craig an Ben are dragging them as PNG guys put it, but they are ok and will proudly walk off the track today along with all the others in trek 463.
How about all the women coming up to walk as believe me you will never shut them up once they get back home! The men can't have all the FUN!!!
