MemberMorning my family and extended family
Hope you all had a good night sleep – I cannot tell you how good it is to see your faces and know that you are all ok – and having some fun along the way. Oh how i wish i were a "leach" along the way – just to hear some of the antics i know you will be getting up to.
Gail is keeping us updated – today looks a little "muddy" – something i guess you all expected.
Spoke to Dannii last night, as well as Rosslyn, Mary, Nancy and Kelly. Just to let them know that they can check on their loved ones as well.
Showed Leah the photos – don't know why she called you daggy Dazza ????????? Perhaps a term of endearment??? How are the Pigeon English lessons coming along ???
Have a great day guys, i am so proud of you all – i must be the luckiest wife and mum alive – i think you are all amazing. Look out for each other – I will check in again tonight. Believe it or not, i am actually going to leave the office today – I may head towards Brisbane, because i know if i go to Ipswich, I won't leave the house again for another three months.
Take care my loves
Mum ( Di or Mother to Dazza )

MemberUpdate 11th August: We heard from the track that the group reached Ioribaiwa Village where they spent last night. The other group spent the night at Ofi Creek so they have split up and moving along independent of each other. In the other group the majority had personal porters and were able to move along a little faster.
I have heard that the group as a whole are doing ok just that the ones carrying are feeling the pinch but managing ok.
Today the plan is to pass Nauro and head down to Agulogo….will they make it….only time will tell!
As we do not run a boot camp, Rod will pull them up when he feels the need so depending on how they are going they could even end up in Nauro.

Memberthey may even meet a butterfly or two as they move along the track to Nauro. Wherever they end up the photograph below will give you an idea as to how they will spend their night. By the time they get back home they will really appreciate turning on a light switch; flushing the toilet and so on….
We as Australian's are so lucky compared to how the majority of people live in PNG not just out on the trail but all over the country!

MemberHi ya babe,
I must admit I haven't gotten much work done as I have been eagerly waiting updates on your group all the time….. Ooops. Thankfully I am having a sick day today. Somehow gotten a sinus infection and a dose of bronchitis…. Oooops again.
Hold on in there babe …. I know you are capable of doing this. Work through it because you are able to do this. I am so so very proud of you…. Have spoken to your mum and dad too… They also are very proud of you and wish you the very best.
Hold your head high as you are achieving a dream of yours for a very long time. You are now doing it so keep on going. Look after your feet as they still have a long way to carry you, drink lots of water to avoid those nasty cramps and eat to maintain your sugar levels.
Thinking of you every moment and waiting for updates all the time. I am extremely proud. Keep going and I will see you in 6 days.
XOXOXO Kel
