Hi Pete, Sunday night and I have a roaring fire going here. Sally is staying over for night 2 and we have had some roast lamb (courtesy Sally's mum) and roast capsicum, fetta and broccoli frittata. Hope your meals are good and providing you with enough fuel for your trekking. You are all on the downhill run now – Well done… Only 5 more sleeps till we see you all again. Update 8th July: Trekkers have now made it to Goldie River and will walk up to Owers' Corner tomorrow morning around 8am where they will be picked up by our transport and driven back to Port Moresby.

Lib and Barb have bulked up on Nappy San because rumour has it that you have massive skid marks on your undies because the toilet paper had to be rationed. I am being pressured by Libby to delete this however I believe the truth must be told. I would imagine you are having a once in a lifetime experience and I'm so pleased you were all able to get there finally.
i look forward to seeing your photos and hearing the stories over and over and over again. If it means we don't have to hear the condom joke anymore it's been a worthwhile trip.
