Trekkers have made it to Eora Creek where they are spending the night.

Earlier today they would have passed through Alola Village before heading down to Eora Creek.

All trekkers are doing fine according to reports coming off the track.

Update 5th July: Chrisley radioed in from Mt Bellamy to say the had just reached the top, 2190 and that they would have a short break before heading down to 1900 Myola Junction where they planned on spending the night. All is going according to plan and trekkers and porters are doing just fine.

Update 6th July: 8:35am – Just heard from Tom Hango by two way radio that trekkers had reached Naduri Lookout and today would head down into Efogi the half way point.

Could not read out any messages as the traffic on the radio is hectic with lots of treks on the go from all different trekking company. We alone have 11 treks on the go at the present time.

The main reason for the radio call was to let us know everyone was ok; their progress and to get a top up card for their sat phone read out to them to punch in as they had run out of credit. No problems just needed this in case of an emergency.

    Photographs:

Pic 1: Imagine them walking along this track
Pic 2: At Naduri they may be lucky enough to meet OVURU NDIKI

3:40pm 6th July: Have just read out all your messages to trekkers on this trek. The radio is very busy at the moment so unfortunately they will not be able to respond – perhaps later tonight when the party line is not so full of people wanting to talk.
