Fluppy
MemberWow! These photos are amazing! And what a beautiful day it is! (Do blue skies happen very often in that part of PNG – or do you just not see them often because of the dense jungle?)
Anyway, Ian, I hope you feel better soon. How unfortunate that you are not well. Thoughts are with you even though you do not know me and I do not know you. Know that there are many who read this forum and share you trials, tribulations and triumphs.
All the best,
Brooke
Editors Note: Before this trek headed out I was informed that they would be celebrating their wedding anniversary on the track. If I have got the right couple than its a double whammy as he is now in Kokoda and thinking of his wife still out there on the track.

MemberHi Margaret,
Sorry to hear that Ian has withdrawn. Dad has been asking after you and was happy for me to tell him about the photos on the website. On Tuesday Chris & Steph Cox had a baby boy – James Ryan Cox. Conference went OK & good networking time. Cathy-Anne was looking at the photos as well. Fran Luke watching as well. Say Hi to Rhonda. Thinking of you daily. LOL Peter.

MemberUpdate 20th August: This morning trekkers commenced their walk up to the Isurava Monument Area which I am led to believe was a bit of a WOW factor! They then moved on to Alola and then down to Eora Creek where they are spending the night next to the roaring creek pounding away.
All trekkers are doing ok and no worries at this point. In this group are three young doctors so they are in good company!

MemberUpdate 22nd August: Trekkers have now reached the half way point of Efogi so tomorrow will be heading off towards Menari. All are still doing ok.

MemberUpdate 23rd August: Trekkers have now reached Menari but we are not sure whether they are staying there or have pushed on down to Agulogo which of late has been their preferred campsite area as its next to the river and the boys love it there.
All trekkers are still doing ok and enjoying their trek.
I have heard from Ian who is now back in Australia, obviously very disappointed but is ok which is the main thing.

MemberUpdate 25th August: Sorry the radio network has been down so not news filtering through from the track. Tomorrow we are planning on heading out to Owers' Corner to pick up the trekkers who should walk off the track tomorrow.
Will keep you updated as soon as we arrive back in from Owers' Corner tomorrow.
