Hi Katie!!!
Just a quick note to say hi and that I am thinking of you over there!! Can see that you guys are almost half way and by all accounts are doing very well, well done!!! Keep up the good work, can't wait to hear all the stories from the track!

Update 19/06/08: Rod Ori radioed in from the track to say they had reached Mt Bellamy the highest point on the track and after a break would move on to Efogi where they will spend the night. I informed him we had heaps of messages to read out and he said he would call when they reached there and get everyone around so I could pass on their messages.
With regards to Jeanette & Carmel, they were choppered out today from Eora Creek and are now at the Hideway Hotel in Port Moresby – 0011 675 3236888. They could not speak more highly of their porters Frank and Ian who ended up on the chopper with them back to Port Moresby. Both are in good spirits but disappointed they did not finish which is only natural.
As for the other remaining trekkers Rod informs me they are all fit and moving along quite nicely.
