MemberOn the 21st July trekkers were picked up from the Gateway Hotel and driven down to Tropic Air to catch their flight to Kokoda. It was an early start as they were picked up at 6:45am. However due to bad weather in Kokoda the flight did not take off until around 8:30.
The photograph below was taken not long after they arrived in Kokoda and met their guide Chris Suma who is with them – refer below:

MemberUpdate 24th July: Chris just radioed in to say they were on the move and were heading for Templeton's for a tea break. He said last night they slept at Eora Creek.
Trekkers asked about Australia's Cadel Evans in the Tour de France race. I quickly did a google search and was able to report how he was going. They seemed quite happy with the result so should be good inspiration for powering along on the track today.
Plan (a) is for them to overnight at Naduri, plan (b) is Myola Junction campsite.
