MemberHey Mum, I heard you finished Kokoda AWESOME!!!!! Hope you had a lot of fun. We're all so proud of you. HIP HIP HOORAY!! Now you can relax and enjoy the rest of the trip. Grandma says she's proud of you to and agrees with what I say, she reckons Grandad and Grandad Jorgie would also be very proud of you. We went to Red Rooster and then to Baskin and Robins for desert. We can't wait till you get home so we can hear all the stories and give you lots of cuddles. See you when you get home.
Lots of love:Matt, Alicia, Grandma and Dad
Have fun!

MemberHi Deanna and Stuart, It is great to see you have made Kokoda. It is an achievement and something you will not forget. Now Stuart has got that out of his system he can come home and finish off the house. I am sure you will have lots of stories to tell Darcey and Eddie as well as pictures to show. Your holiday at Christmas time will be so relaxing after what you have just achieved by trekking the Kokoda Track. I am proud of the whole group in achieving this milestone.
Best of luck with the rest of the trip and looking forward to seeing you both as well as Donna. Have a safe trip home.
Bye, Jan Lange

MemberHi everyone, have just spoken to the group who are presently at Gona. I read the latest messages out to them and they replied:
Tell everyone that they are ok, safe and well and looking forward to seeing you all when they get back home.

MemberUpdate 24th September: As I type this, trekkers are in KTL 1 travelling from Gona down to Guria Airport in Popondetta for their flight back into Port Moresby. They should be back in their hotel around 11am

MemberHi everyone, met up with our trekkers tonight and they all seemed to have thoroughly enjoyed their trekking experience with our porters and guide Tarina and each others company as they walked the Kokoda Track.
It was just so great hearing some of their stories, so much so, we could have listened more but had to get home to answer some emails!

MemberBoss Meri,
I would like to say thank you for the great web site and keeping us well informed where our family and friends were during their walk. The children enjoyed following their parent's journey and also seeing the photos of where they were.
It was a milestone in the lives of our family members who walked the track and it was good to be able to share it with them.
Again Thank you,
God Bless,
