Boss Meri
MemberHi everyone, I read out all the messages this afternoon which seemed to please them all. Rob added that he sends his love, that he is having a great time and will see you soon.
David says hi. Ian said thanks and I replied you should be down as your team lost but he added he was happy and enjoying himself.
Anne I mentioned about the pics and they said they are taking plenty so you will have heaps to look at when they get back home.
Ruth/Barry, I passed your message onto David to pass on to the others.
As for Wallace he seemed happy that he had got all his team to Efogi and that he has confidence they will all walk out at Owers' Corner on the 24th. He said tonight there is 7 trekking companies in Efogi and the place is just packed. Fortunately we got the guesthouse as he said a couple of nights in a row they have not slept too well due to the weather as its been raining every night since Eora Creek.
Tomorrow they plan a short walk to Menari.

MemberUpdate 22nd April: Wallace radioed in from Mt Tamata this morning to say trekkers were on the move and were heading today to Naoro. Last night as planned they stayed in Menari.
There are heaps of trekkers on the track so they are moving along ok and hope to reach their destination by 1pm today.
So this afternoon they will have a relaxing time in the village and will no doubt watch more trekkers pass by as the other companies move along the track.
There was a lot of companies singing out on the radio so did not get a chance to read out your messages but will do so first chance I get. I informed Wallace and he will be on standby later today to receive them.

Peter gave us this link. We have been going into it every day and enjoying very much all the updates. Hope you have been able to get some great photos. Any additions to your "Friends" assignment? We are all well. Heard from Dave and Sylvia who are having fun. Been walking in the rain daily thinking of you. If you can we can too. Lots of love Mum and Dad

MemberThe radio network has been down so have not heard from our guide today as planned from Maguli Ridge. They will be out as planned tomorrow sometime and we have them down for a pickup around midday. All going well re not getting bogged etc – they should be back in their respective hotels around 3pm.
